Kiddush Cups

Kiddush, literally, "sanctification," is a blessing recited over wine or grape juice in a Kiddush Cup to inaugurate the evening and mid-day meals on the Shabbat and Jewish festivals. The Kiddush ceremony serves to sanctify the Shabbat and Jewish festivals.
