"Birkat Cohanim" - Print on Canvas by Nahum Kruger
About the artist: Nahum Kruger was born in South Africa in 1944. Nahum lived as a secular Jew until the Yom Kippur War, when he was seriously injured, but miraculously survived. This experience transformed his understanding of the meaning of life. He knew that he had to embark upon a mission of search and discovery and has been doing so ever since. Nahum's paintings reflect the stages of his personal quest, from the darkness of his pre-war existence to the dawning of his enlightenment. His specialty is the depiction of familiar physical images to convey deep kabbalistic concepts. Currently Nahum resides in the outskirts of Jerusalem.
